Aktif Tech, a subsidiary of Aktif Bank that carries out business as the most comprehensive fintech ecosystem in Türkiye, now gets beyond Türkiye and expands overseas. In accordance with the agreements, executed with BKT Albania and BKT Kosovo, the payment systems infrastructure of the two banks will be undertaken by Aktif Tech. Ozgur Bilgin, the General Manager of Aktif Tech, said; "In line with this project, we have materialized, we just became globalized with Atlas, one of our products."

Having introduced an innovative approach towards financial technologies, payment systems and ticketing systems software as powered by the cooperations it has materialized, Aktif Tech executed a far-reaching and long-term agreement with BKT Albania and BKT Kosovo. In line with such agreement, the infrastructures for the MasterCard and Visa branded cards as well as the POS, virtual POS and ATM products at both of the said two banks in Albania and Kosovo will be undertaken by Aktif Tech through its systems in Türkiye.

Highlighting the power of BKT in both countries and pointing out that it is the leading bank that has the largest market share and set of products, especially in Albania, and that has introduced the loyalty program and installment features to the said country, Ozgur Bilgin, the General Manager of Aktif Tech, said; "We are proud for the fact that all system infrastructures of both BKT Albania and BKT Kosovo will be provided by Aktif Tech. We are delighted to have all services moved to Atlas, a modern infrastructure system with not only the PCI DSS but also the PCI PIN certificates. We accomplished to move all products to the Atlas system smoothly thanks to the work, we have performed synchronously with the former service provider and a large number of stakeholders. We are so glad to export the experiences and operations, we have acquired in our country, overseas, and we are getting prepared for the new activities and operations globally".
