Award ceremony of Vodafone Istanbul Half Marathon, organized by Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi Spor A.S. with Vodafone as title sponsor, was held on May 30, 2016.

Aktif Bank's running team "Aktif Runners" came third in the 21 km Corporate Challenge division of Vodafone Istanbul Half Marathon, held for the 11th time.

Aktif Bank's CEO Serdar Sumer, EVP, Finance Murat Barlas, Head of Corporate Marketing Department Suat Bakkal, and Head of Subsidiaries and Business Profitability Department Seher Demirci run for the team "Aktif Runners", which came third at the Corporate Challenge division of Vodafone Istanbul Half Marathon after Nike and Spor A.S.

7,500 athletes ran at the Marathon on a course which starts from Yenikapi Meeting Area alongside Kumkapi, Sirkeci, Eminonu, Unkapani, Fener and Balat coastline, winding through the traffic lights under the Halic Bridge back to the start area. Athletes competed in a tight race in corporate challenge category of the marathon. Aktif Bank's team of 4 finished the marathon race in 3rd place.
