Kayserispor Becomes The Football Club to Increase Its Average Attendance Most in Super Lig

​While we are leaving the 26th week in Spor Toto Super Lig, the attendance rates are increasing gradually. Achieving average attendance of 12 thousand 926 persons during this season, Spor Toto Super Lig now exceeded 44,5 percent of the average attendance of the last season, corresponding to 8 thousand 940 persons. Drawing attention with not only its field performance but also its fan support in stadiums, Kayserispor became the football club to increase its average attendance most in Super Lig.

Meeting the press members from Kayseri together with the executives of Kayserispor Football Club, Ceyhun Kazancı, General Manager of Passolig, said: "Achieving average attendance of 11 thousand 826 persons, Kayserispor left 10 clubs of the league in the dust, and became the 3rd-ranking football club to have the highest average attendance after the Big Four.  Fans of Kayserispor have a substantial impact on the increased average attendance in Spor Toto Super Lig."

Average attendance of Kayserispor tripled in the last two seasons

Completing the last two seasons in the 15th rank in Spor Toto Super Lig, Kayserispor achieved an increase in its fan support in line with its enhanced field performance in this season. With its average attendance of 3 thousand 521 and 5 thousand 403 in 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 football seasons, respectively, the team of Kayseri reached average attendance of 11 thousand 826 in its home matches based on the data obtained from the first 26 weeks. When compared with the average attendance figures of Super Lig teams in the last season, Kayserispor achieved an increase by 119 percent, becoming the team to increase its average attendance most among the 18 teams.

"Kayserispor increases its revenue by 86 percent"

Pointing out that Kayserispor doubles its average attendance compared to the last season, Mr. Kazancı said: "Pushing for the higher ranks with its field performance in Spor Toto Super Lig, Kayserispor increased its revenues from ticket and season ticket sales, by 86 percent. While its total attendance was 57 thousand 378 persons in the league matches at Kadir Has Stadium in the first 26 weeks of 2016-2017 football season, its average attendance reached 153 thousand 740 in the first 26 weeks of this season. With its attendance figures increased by approximately 100 thousand, Kayserispor became one of the teams to sell the highest number of season tickets."

An increase by 46 percent achieved in the number of Passolig Cards

Kayserispor is one of the football clubs having the highest number of fans holding Passolig Card in Passolig Card League reaching 3,7 million users. The number of Passolig Cards bearing Kayserispor logo reached 57 thousand 635 with an increase by 46 percent while it was 39 thousand 428 at the season outset. The highest number of Passolig Cards bearing Kayserispor logo was purchased from Nevşehir, Ankara and İstanbul except for Kayseri.
