78 percent of the sports fans told that the matches should be played with the spectators


​Passo prepares the new version of the survey, it has conducted in April, and takes the pulse of its members: 78 percent of the sports fans told that the matches should be played with the spectators


Having asked the sports fans and the art-lovers to tell the events, they have longed the most, and their preferences for participating in such events by means of the survey with a high level of participation it has held during the course of the pandemic, Passo also prepared a similar survey during the course of the return to the normal.  The results of such survey, incorporating the comparison for April and June, revealed that 78 percent of the sports fans preferred to have the matches played with the spectators with a limited capacity or with the spectators with no limitation at all, and also that the art-lovers thought that it was safer to join the events held outdoors as compared to the arts events held indoors.


78 percent of the sports fans replied as "with the spectators" or "with the spectators with a limited capacity" for the question "Should the sports competitions be played with or without the spectators?" at the survey, held on passo.com.tr and through the Passo Mobile Application.


The percentage of the participants, who told that "they would go without a second thought" to the football matches showed an increase.


The question "would you go to that match if the football team, you support, was to play one just now?", which was addressed to the sports fans at the survey, held in April, was replied as "I would go without a second thought" by 32 percent of the participants, and the percentage of the participants, who have told that "they would feel safer after a period of 3 to 6 months" was reported as 29 percent.  The sports fans were posed with the same question during the return to normal. While 46 percent of the participants replied that "they would go without a second thought", the percentage of the participants, who told that "they would feel safer after a period of 3 to 6 months", increased to 17 percent.


While the percentage of the individuals, who told that "they would go "right now", was 32 percent in April, such percentage increased to 46 percent in June. While the percentage of the individuals, who have told that "they would not join the events for a good while, even if the treatment would be found", was reported as 7 percent with no change at all, the individuals, who have told that "they would feel safe after the treatment would be found" were reported as 32 percent in April, but reported as 25 percent in June.



The art-lovers longed the outdoors more


The increase, shown in the number of the individuals, who have told that "they would go right now" to the outdoor venues, during the return to normal as compared to the replies given in April, grabs the attention in respect of the questions asked to the art-lovers with respect to the art events held outdoors and indoors. While 16 percent of the art-lovers told that "they would go right now" to the arts events held outdoors at the survey, held in April, the percentage of the individuals, who have replied the same in June, increased to 26 percent.



The art event to be joined the first:  Concert


The question, "Which art event do you think to join the first?, asked to the participants, was replied as the "Concerts" well ahead in the replies given for the said question.  While a portion of 37 percent has preferred the concerts in April, such percentage increased to 48 percent during the return to normal.


The replies given for the festivals increased to 14 percent from 11 percent, and the replies given for the theater and stand-up shows increased to 23 percent from 20 percent. While the museum, exhibition and workshop events aroused the attention of a portion of 12 percent in April, 29 percent of the participants expressed that they were looking for such events, in June.
