Japanese Credit Rating Agency JCR-ER has confirmed Aktif Bank’s Long Term National Note included in the investible category as A- (Trk) and standing as Positive.


Japanese Credit Rating Agency JCR-ER has confirmed Aktif Bank’s Long Term National Note included in the investible category as A- (Trk) and standing as Positive.



In 2009 Aktif Bank’s credit note was increased to Positive from Stable by JCR-ER and it continues growing in a healthy structure with its high active quality that is a result of an efficient risk management policy and low leverage – high equity capital rates. It became the fastest growing bank of Turkish Banking Sector in 2008 when the effects of global economic crisis was felt strongly with the policy of not carrying currency risk and creating low general expenditure costs. Aktif Bank has sustained this trend in 2009 and increased its assets as 8.5 fold.



In the last quarter of 2009, it exported Turkey’s first “commercial paper” qualified bank paper (Aktif Bond) and it increased its diversity and Aktif Bank also succeeded in exporting 1/3 of total fixed yield securities registered in SPK during 2009.
