The new company “EchoPos” aims to become an effective solution partner in Retail Sector, offering accelerated and more efficient payment systems for retail companies.

​Aktif Bank, Turkey’s largest private capital investment bank offering tailor-made solutions thanks to its strong distribution channels, launches a joint venture with Robotpos, a leading company in payment systems and automation, through Borsa Istanbul Private Market.

Borsa Istanbul Private Market, aiming to bring technological start-ups together with investors, goes ahead with another new investment after a robust start in 2016.

A new investment has been realized on Borsa Istanbul Private Market, a web-based and membership based platform that brings together companies and investors to trade shares without going public.  Aktif Bank’s investment in Echo Pos is the 8th investment realized on Borsa Istanbul so far this year.

Echo Pos, jointly established by Aktif Bank and Robotpos in order to become the payment systems solution partner for the companies active in the retail sector, started to operate on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, with an opening-bell ceremony organized at Borsa Istanbul.

Echo Pos aims to be the solution partner for the organized retail sector and Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME), and will primarily offer front and back office payment systems and automation solutions in retail chain businesses.  In addition to payment systems, Echo Pos will offer its clients stock-taking, sales, order follow-up, and profitability monitoring processes in a much more practical, fast and efficient manner. Eco Pos employs Windows-based systems for organized retail chains, and Android-based systems for Small and Medium Enterprises, and companies will be able to provide services to their clients on tablets, as well. The system also allows users to follow up campaigns and the turnover.

Borsa Istanbul Private Market Director Recep Bildik gave a speech at the ceremony and said: “Borsa Istanbul, the most liquid and developed exchange of its region, established the Private Market in 2014.
