Passolig General Manager Ceyhun Kazanci gave a press conference in Adana.

Kazanci emphasized the importance of Adana as a football city with 45 thousand Passolig Card holders for the season 2014/2015, and 80 thousand for the season 2015/2016, and said "Number of Passolig Card holders among Adanaspor and Adana Demirspor fans has exceeded 65 thousand even before the new season starts. We expect to see that stadiums will be full of even more football fans this year and this season will be even better."

Passolig General Manager Ceyhun Kazanci gave a press conference in Adana in ahead of the season 2016-2017. At the conference, Kazanci shared current figures about Passolig, expressing that a much bigger crowd is expected in Adana stadiums in this season.

"Attendance numbers, tickets sold and revenues have increased to a great extent"

Ceyhun Kazanci noted that in the season 2015 – 2016, attendance numbers increased by 35% in Spor Toto Super Lig and PTT 1. Lig compared to the previous season, underlining that number of Passolig Card holders reached 2.1 million in total. Kazanci stated that the number of Passolig Card holders would see the targeted level of 3 million by the end of the season 2016-2017 and noted: "A significant increase is seen in attendance numbers, number of tickets sold and revenues in both Spor Toto Super Lig and PTT 1. Lig during the season 2015 - 2016. Also in this season, attendance numbers increased by 35% in Super Toto Super Lig and by 32.5% in PTT 1. Lig compared to the season 2014 - 2015." The increase in attendance numbers is also reflected on matchday revenues, Kazanci noted. "Total attendance figure was 1 million 905 thousand in Spor Toto Super Lig for the season 2014-2015 whilst this figure rose to 2 million 570 thousand for the season 2015-2016. And in PTT 1. Lig, the attendance number rose to 661 thousand from 500 thousand. In the season 2014-2015, 302 thousand football fans attended Ziraat Turkish Cup games whilst this figure rose to 364 thousand for the season 2015 - 2016. As for Champions League and UEFA Europa League games, for the season 2015-2016, attendance numbers rose to 477 thousand from 336 thousand during the season 2014-2015. As a result, total attendance number for the season 2015-2016 rose to 4 million 41 thousand from 3 million 42 thousand during the season 2014-2015".

"Adanaspor returns to storm through Spor Toto Super Lig"

Adanaspor has won promotion to Spor Toto Super Lig after years of absence; and this promotion is expected to give rise to a significant increase in both attendance rates and matchday revenues, Kazanci stated. "Number of Passolig Card holders was 8 thousand 360 among Adanaspor fans during the season 2014-2015, and this figure increased by 162% to 23 thousand 145 in the season 2015-2016.  The Taurus Tigers enjoyed a similar increase in total attendance rate, which doubled its attendance number for the season 2014/2015 during the season 2015/2016, hosting 100 thousand football fans in the last two seasons. We expect to see a much greater increase in attendance numbers of the club, as Adanaspor storms through Spor Toto Super Lig during the season 2016/2017."

Adana Demirspor was one of the top 5 football clubs by ticket sales for the season 2014/2015 among other teams in Spor Toto Super Lig and PTT 1. Lig; and fueled by its ambition for promotion to Super Lig, it has also achieved the highest attendance rate in PTT 1. Lig for the last two seasons. Passolig General Manager Ceyhun Kazanci also announced that a mobile Passolig application would go live in the new season. Coming soon, the application will provide a wide range of services in a fast and simple way for football fans including card application, ticket purchase, card purchase, card renewal, top-up, term extension, ticket transfer and transfer of single game tickets from season tickets.
