Managing Director, Corporate and Retail Credit Underwriting
Fatih Baysal graduated from Koç University, with double majors in Business Administration and Economics. He began his banking career in 2006 at the Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye (TSKB) as a Financial Analyst. In 2010, he joined Aktif Bank, where he has since assumed senior responsibilities across corporate, project finance and financial institutions lending activities. Baysal has experience in credit risk assessment, corporate and retail lending, structured and project finance and financial institutions. He has played an active role in managing credit processes and supporting the Bank’s lending strategy, with a particular focus on effective risk management. Since 2022, Baysal has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Aktif Portföy Yönetimi, contributing to the company’s strategic decision making and corporate governance processes. As of September 1, 2026, Fatih Baysal serves as Managing Director responsible for Corporate and Retail Credit Underwriting at Aktif Bank, overseeing key underwriting and allocation activities.
