Sigortayeri Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi,, has decided to cooperate with Fiba Holding and Fiba Emeklilik for the next five years in the fields of Group Loan Life, Private Pension and Insurance Brokerage.

The companies have executed a cooperation agreement with a total contract value of 1 Billion TL.

Based on this agreement which provides for sales of Fiba Emeklilik products through the channels of Aktif Bank, Sigortayeri will provide services as insurance broker to the companies of Fiba Holding until 2021 for domestic and international investments. Under this agreement, the interest-free BES (Private Pension System) funds of Fiba Emeklilik will be managed by Mukafat Portfoy owned by Aktif Bank.

Sigortayeri Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi, the subsidiary of Aktif Bank, and Fiba Emeklilik, the subsidiary of Fiba Holding, have combined their forces to achieve growth in the fields of Group Loan Life Insurance and Private Pension. It is aimed that this cooperation agreement, executed by and between the two important players of the industry, will generate life insurance premiums of 700 Million TL, and the size of BES (Private Pension System) funds will reach up to 300 Million TL.

The agreements were executed on May 17, 2017, at Swissotel upon attendance of Dr. Serdar Sumer, General Manager of Aktif Bank and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sigortayeri, Omer Mert, General Manager of Fibabank, Cuneyt Tanriverdi, General Manager of Sigortayeri Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi, and Erol Ozturkoglu, General Manager of Fiba Emeklilik.

The cooperation agreement was executed by and between Aktif Bank and Fiba Holding while the Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Agreement was executed by and between Sigortayeri and Fiba Holding to be effective for a period of five years. Under this agreement; Mukafat Portfoy, owned by Aktif Bank, will be among the BES (Private Pension System) portfolio management company alternatives offered by Fiba Emeklilik to its customers.

Dr. Serdar Sumer, General Manager of Aktif Bank and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sigortayeri, said: “Attaining a wide distribution network with the corporate and retail products through the momentum it increases with each passing day, Sigortayeri has become the insurance company of Turkey with the highest capital in a short span of time. Providing details on the cooperation, Cuneyt Tanriverdi, General Manager of Sigortayeri, said: "We have executed a cooperation agreement that is important not only for our company but also the entire industry. Under the agreement we have executed with Fibaemeklilik in the fields of Group Loan Life Insurance and Private Pension, we will provide the products of Fibaemeklilik to Aktif Bank and its customers. On the other hand, we will provide services to Fiba Group and its companies as insurance broker for domestic and international investments for the next five years." Pointing out that long-term cooperation enables all parties to make new investments in future for the products and services, Mr. Tanriverdi said: "I believe that this process will bring along the opportunity to achieve the targeted profitable and stable growth for all of us.
